spring edition:: recap in pictures
a couple weeks ago, i was pretty consumed with the spring stitch market. it was the best market we've had yet, and i'm sure you'll see why in this very picture-filled post!
some of these pictures are mine, and many are my partner in crime, emily's.
we used to host the market in my house in years past, but we moved to a bigger location downtown at our church for the last 3 markets and its perfect!
every market starts the same: cramming half my house into the back of a car.
since the kids are a little older this year, i decided to let them join me for unloading the car, setting up my booth and marking off the vendor spaces. other than a few "stop running"s and "sit in the corner for a few"s, they were actually pretty helpful.
thanks to stacy's suggestion, i finally hung all my bags and scarves, rather than setting them on the table. and i loved it!
my bread and butter, posies
this stash of baby blankets was thinned out over the 2 days of the market - yay!
not my best display ever, but at least it all fit!
my stitch market business partner, emily of blue corduroy
she does the best mix of vintage and modern!
aren't these big ol' bows so fun?! tuck one under a bun... perfect!
i can't get enough of these crocheted rocks!
they need to find a home on one of my many piles
emily madr the cutest granny squares, and turned them into sachets!
stacy lynn is the only vendor we let sneak in early because she is our biggest helper! after we all get set up we knock out the checkout table and the decorations and all the final details before the rest of the vendors start arriving and unloading - then the crazy begins!
stacy even gave my girls each one of these scarves for helping her set up!
we're all ready! let the vendors arrive!
molly of cookie & curly has been a part of our market for quite awhile - we love her!
she has beautiful jewelry and the most unique bird mobiles. she is always a customer favorite.
mission thrift store brings up some beautiful vintage goods that everyone loves!
their booth gets cleared out so quickly that they have to restock throughout the day!
la peony pink was one of our new vendors this market and we're so happy she joined us!
her refurbished furniture was such a fun addition to our market!
and she was so sweet to get to know as well!
anicia of roaming barefoot was another new vendor that our customers loved!
her quirky vintage goods were so fun!
kristin noel designs has been a beloved vendor for a handful of markets now, and emily and i each were gifted one of these itty bitty monogram necklaces!
christina of rooted in paper is back after "maternity leave" ;)
she has been designing our fliers for years and does a fabulous job!
ruby rose was back again with their fabulous vintage clothing. i may or may not have come home with a couple new items for my closet...
poppy soap co. was back with us again as well!
these soaps filled our room with yummy scents!
i love the buzz of set up!
saylor rose is one of my favorite vendors! she has designs that everyone loves!
kasey sews was back and we made her bring back her little mice creations!
augie & lola was new to the market and had great quality baby products
in some of the best fabrics i've seen!
for her first booth, i think she nailed it!
glitterfarm was tucked in the middle over there. i loved her big slouchy shoulder bags!
love, chrystal has the prettiest succulents that were selling like mad on the second day of the market! she has a great eye for creative pots and colors.
keshet lavoux jewelry was another new vendor and i loved her booth - it was adorable!
jenny of the sweet stuff was back again, but with a whole new product line!
kristen jones of aloette is not only a long time vendor, but an even longer time friend! we met when our oldest's were just months old!
rachel of ferrever paper products was another newbie and her products were so cute!
we're going to take a little breather, then set our date for our holiday market...
